PACE asks to abolish authorities of Ukrainian delegation

A group of the European People’s Party in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe asked to abolish authorities of the Ukrainian delegation in the PACE.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, representative of the group, lawmaker Egidijus Vareikis (Lithuania) said this at the beginning of the first part of the PACE session.

“Three members of the Ukrainian delegation – Volodymyr Pylypenko, Valeriy Pysarenko and Oleksandr Feldman stay here as members of the Yulia Tymoshenko’s Bloc, in other words as members of opposition, although they are members of the ruling party, that is why we dispute authorities”, he said.

However, members of the PACE did not support this proposition
