Two yaks rescued in Kyiv zoo

Representatives of Kyiv zoo state that unknown people threw venenate food to an open-air cage with two yaks last night. As a result of this the animals needed urgent resuscitation aid.

According to the press service of Kyiv zoo, the yaks were rescued thanks to emergency medical aid given by specialists of veterinary medical service of the zoo and Animals Health Center of emergency medical aid.

According to head of the veterinary medical service of the zoo Vitaliy Kobylinskyi, yaks have the same symptoms as elephant Boy had, who died on April 26.
