On Wednesday, 23 April at a sitting the Cabinet of Ministers to consider an issue on the state of holding external independent estimation of school leavers’ knowledge, according to the government’s press-office.
Representatives of parent committees, school superintendents, heads of universities, teacher trade unions will be invited to the sitting.
This decision was taken by the Government today at its special sitting.
Yulia Tymoshenko assured that the Government wants to hear an opinion of people, parents and teachers and is going to evaluate the real state of preparation for testing.
The Government has to clear up whether the country is able to hold this testing efficiently without rights violation of pupils, future students, their families.
The Prime Minister announced: “I won’t allow performing experiments on children”.
Фccording to Yulia Tymoshenko, the Government will draft real mechanisms which are to put an end to corruption preventing shock therapy.
