The Day of Europe will be celebrated for the sixth time in Kyiv on May 11.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Foreign Ministry of Ukraine spokesman Vassyl Kyrylych said this at a press conference on Wednesday.
According to his words, the Europe Day celebration is organzied by the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, together with the European Commission representative office in Ukraine and Embassies of EU member countries, with assistance of the Kyiv City State Administration and Oblast State Administrations of Ukraine.
A European town will be opened in the center of Kyiv; it will include a Ukrainian pavilion, along with pavilions of public debates. A rock concert of the Ukrainian and European musicians will take place in the framework of the celebrations.
The Day of Europe will also be celebrated in Odesa - on May 14 and in Donetsk - on May 17.
