[16.05.2007 15:46] Government calls on President to sign law on pay rise to government-financed employeesThe Government calls on the President to sign law on pay rise to government-financed employees, according to an UNIAN correspondent. Labor and social policy minister Mykhaylo Papiev claimed this at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers today. “On May 4 this law was passed and sent to the President. Today is May 16, and according to the Constitution, 15-day term is appointed for the law signing. We wait and we call on, so the law could be signed”, Papiev said. He also emphasized that while Yanukovych’ Government is working, the salaries and pensions will rise rapidly for the Ukraine citizens. The minister noted that now the Government is working on the miners’ pensions at 80% level from the medium salary in the field.
