Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych held a meeting with leaders of the Russian energy companies - Chief Executive of "TNK-BP Management" public corporation German Khan and Chairman of the Committee of Directors of “Iter” company Ihor Makarov, according to the Cabinet’s press-office.
The meeting with German Khan concerned attraction of enhanced investments into the Ukrainian economy. Viktor Yanukovych stressed that the Government of Ukraine is interested in attracting foreign investments into the energy sphere. The interlocutors are interested in deepening long-term cooperation.
The discussion between Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and Chairman of the Committee of Directors of “Iter” company Ihor Makarov concerned key directions of activity of the International Group of “Iter” company in Ukraine and prospects of cooperation with the Ukrainian partners in implementation of joint projects in the energy sector.
Ukraine considers energy cooperation as one of the priorities for guaranteeing stable development of the national economy, the Head of Government stressed.
