17-year-old student of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy Darja Stepanenko hit Education and Science, Youth and Sports Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk in the face by a bunch of flowers. An incident took place at the Forum of Education Ministers of the European Countries “School of the 21st century: Kyiv initiative” today.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, during the speech of one of the participants of the forum the student came to D. Tabachnyk (moderator of this forum) with a bunch of flowers and started talking to him. T. Tabachnyk rose from his place in order to answer her, but D. Stepanenko hit the minister in the face by bunch of flowers.
D. Stepanenko said to journalists that she expressed a protest against policy of D. Tabachnyk and that student are barred from carrying out protest actions in some places of Kyiv. According to the preliminary data, militia detained the student.
During the incident Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov had already left the forum.
