Ukraine has no questions concerning gas payments - Tymoshenko

Ukraine will begin gas payments as soon as documents on transferring natural gas to the Ukrainian side are signed.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko claimed this at a press conference in the Cabinet of Ministers today.

“The payments for natural gas will begin at the moment when the Russian Federation and Ukraine sign all the necessary documents on transferring natural gas”, she stressed.

The Prime Minister added that the Ukrainian government reserved the necessary volume of financing to pay off the debt for the gas, consumed in the end of 2007.

“Ukraine has no questions concerning payments for natural gas. We are ready to pay as soon as documents are prepared”, she noted.
