All NATO countries have agreed that in future Ukraine and Georgia will become NATO members.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko claimed this to journalists in Bucharest today.

According to him, this decision was made at the Alliance Summit in Bucharest today.

“Today we came to an agreement that these countries [Ukraine and Georgia - UNIAN] will become NATO members”, Victor Yushchenko cited the Alliance decision.

According to the President, this decision is historical for the Ukrainian nation. He added that all countries positively assessed the Ukraine’s bid to become a NATO member. He also expressed a belief that in December NATO will make a positive decision on Ukraine’s joining NATO MAP.
