Yushchenko: Yanukovych not to remain on post of Prime Minister

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko claims that Victor Yanukovych will not remain on the post of acting Prime Minister even if the head of the new government is not elected.

The Head of State said this in the interview to 5 Kanal on Sunday.

In his opinion, V. Yanukovych understands that “it is impossible to fulfill the duties under such conditions”. “Because to work without any budged, any full-fledged government, any parliamentary committees, and with dozens of decisions, which are necessary to be made by the beginning of the year, both financial and budgetary – it is a suicide”, stressed V. Yushchenko.
