[15.04.2008 17:05] Stock market State Registry Prepared for Electronic Statements
Kyiv. April 15. UNIAN. Beginning on April 14, financial statements of individual entrepreneurs may be submitted in electronic form, according to Kostyantyn Vashchenko who Chairs the State Committee for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship The general director of the Information and Resource Center (IRC), Svetlana Antropova, said that software for compiling such electronic reports may be downloaded for free on the websites of both the SCRPE and IRC. According to Antropova, “management agents” will need to purchase an electronic signature in an accredited center to receive certification. Antropova said that 5 firms in Ukraine are now capable of providing such services. Kostyantyn Vashchenko also said that the opportunity to send documents in electronic form will not do away with the paper forms. He said that publishing financial statements in the Unified State Registry is required by the first directive of the EU Council of March 9, 1968 and stands as one of European Business Register’s requirements. The electronic exchange of information between Ukraine and EU member states should being this summer.
