Lytvyn offers VRU to have second thoughts and establish “winter time”

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn offers to cancel recently adopted resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On changing an order of time calculation at the territory of Ukraine”.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the meeting of the Conciliatory Council of leaders of the factions and chairmen of the parliamentary committees.

“It is necessary to recognize that making this decision was prompt, rash and did not forecast all consequences”, said V. Lytvyn.

He noted that the parliament should adopt a resolution on cancellation of this decision and give instructions to the government to submit the corresponding draft law during the month.

According to his words, it is necessary “to finish this issue”.
