Azarov: Gas contracts contradict agreement of 2004

Ukraine believes that effective Gas contracts of 2009 contradict the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental agreements of 2004.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this during the press conference to journalists today.

He noted that it is an argument for changing the current conditions of purchase and transit of gas. According to the words of M. Azarov, as of today Ukraine sent a corresponding letter to the government of Russia where a position of Ukraine concerning this issue is explained.
