Presidents of Ukraine and Singapore note there is potential for broadening of cooperation between countries

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Singapore Sellapan Ramanathan welcome development of the Ukrainian- Syngaporean relations, and note an existing potential for development of the bilateral cooperation.

It is said in the Joint statement signed during the state visit of V. Yanukovych to Singapore, the press service of the head of the state disclosed this to UNIAN.

The leaders of Ukraine and Singapore agreed to expedite finishing of internal procedures necessary for matching and signing of the bilateral agreements that are at a level of consideration.

The leaders of the two countries also underlined an importance of cooperation between Ukraine and Singapore within a framework of the United Nations Organization.
