The Ukrainian military delegation headed by Defense Minister of Ukraine Mykhaylo Yezhel left for Azerbaijan.
The Mass Media and PR Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that within the framework of visit the Defense Minister of Ukraine will meet with Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Safar Abiyev and negotiations of official delegations will take place in Baku.
During the negotiations it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues concerning bilateral defense cooperation.
It is planned that during the visit Defense Minister M. Yezhel will hold a working meetings with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade and chairman of Chairman of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov.
Representatives of the Ukrainian military delegation will visit an education center and Military Academy of Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
The official visit of the Ukrainian military delegation to Baku will last up to March 18.
