Russia liquidates one more Union of Ukrainians

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine believes that a decision on closing of the Union of Ukrainians in Russia (UUR) will harm considerably to “atmosphere” of the Ukrainian-Russian relations.

Director of the Department on Information Policy of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Oleg Voloshyn said this in the comment to UNIAN.

According to his words, the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine knows that Justice Ministry of the RF has checked an activity of the Union of Ukrainians in Russia for a long time.

“We expect that a conclusion that will be made as a result of this check up will allow to preserve UUR”, added O. Voloshyn.

He noted that the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine keeps vigilant watch over the situation concerning this union.
