Yanukovych to hold negotiations with Chinese President Hu Jintao in Beijing today

President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will pay a state visit to China and an official visit to administrative region of People`s Republic of China Hong Kong from September 2 to September 5, 2010.

The press service of the head of the state disclosed to UNIAN that the visit will take place on invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao and will promote stirring up of further Ukrainian – Chinese dialogue at the highest level, bringing of the Ukrainian – Chinese relations to a level of strategic partnership, forming of a political base for the further development of the bilateral cooperation in all areas.

On September 2-3 the President of Ukraine will be in Beijing, where it is planned to hold negotiations with Chinese President Hu Jintao and meetings with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People`s Congress of People`s Republic of China Wu Bangguo and Prime Minister of the State Council of People`s Republic of China Wen Jiabao. During these meetings it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues concerning cooperation.

The President of Ukraine will also deliver a speech at the Ukrainian – Chinese relations forum, where leading representatives of the business circles of Ukraine and China will take part.
