Ukraine and Brazil signed range of documents

Signing ceremony of range of bilateral documents took place within the frameworks of the state visit of President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to Ukraine.

The press service of the President of Ukraine disclosed to UNIAN that as a result of the meetings head of the Ukrainian state Victor Yushchenko and President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva signed a Joint declaration.

In this declaration the Presidents paid attention to main results of the negotiations, defining perspective directions of further intergovernmental interaction in the spheres, which are strategically interesting for both countries.

The sides signed the following documents in presence of the heads of the states:

- An agreement on extradition between Ukraine and Brazil;

- Agreement on air communication between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Brazil;

- Agreement on cultural cooperation between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Brazil;

- An agreement between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Brazil on partial cancellation of visa regime;

- Memorandum on mutual understanding in education sphere between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Brazil;

- Protocol on intentions between State Committee on nuclear regulation of Ukraine and National Commission on nuclear energy of Brazil on cooperation in nuclear security and radiation protection sphere.
