Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin underline the necessity of development of the bilateral trade-economic relations.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, they said this today at the bilateral meeting in Polish city Sopot near Gdansk.

Yu. Tymoshenko during the talk with V. Putin expressed the satisfaction that the governments of two countries succeeded in establishing stable and fruitful relations.

She also expressed a hope that the next meeting of the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Russia scheduled for October in Kharkiv within the frameworks of the session of the Ukrainian – Russian economic committee, will also be successful and effective in economic cooperation sphere.

Moreover, Yu. Tymoshenko said that during the today’s session it is planned to consider the range of the economic issues including cooperation in the energy sphere in order to have a possibility to sign the relevant documents during the meeting in October.

In his turn V. Putin noted that there is rather difficult situation both in Ukrainian and Russian economics.

Moreover, V. Putin underlined that “there are a lot of questions, which demand our constant attention”.

V. Putin said that Ukraine and RF are big bilateral partners in the trade-economic sphere.
