President gives interview to CNN

President Victor Yushchenko gave the exclusive interview to CNN International today, according to the President`s press-office.

The subjects discussed during the interview included Ukraine’s position towards Russian-Georgian conflict, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, Ukrainian-Russian relations.

Beside that President made comments on internal situation in Ukraine and recent events in the Ukrainian Parliament.

The interview was conducted from the London CNN studio by “World News Europe” presenter Fionnula Sweeney. Full version of the interview will be on the air of CNN at 18.00 (16.00 London time) and in prime time – at 23.00 (21.00 London time). Fragments of the interview will be broadcast during the day.
