Inflation in April made up 3.1% - EconMin

The inflation in Ukraine in April has made 3.1%.

Economics Minister of Ukraine Bohdan Danylyshyn has disclosed this to an UNIAN correspondent.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Top Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksander Turchynov vowed that the government would achieve the inflation in April at less than 3%.

According to O.Turchynov, the government also forecasted further reduction of the inflation rates.

UNIAN note. The inflation in Ukraine in March made up 3.8%, compared to February of 2008. Since the beginning of the year, the consumer prices soared by 9.7%.

At the same time, in March of the year 2008, compared to March of 2007, the inflation made up 26.2%.
