Government turns attention to violations in transport sphere

Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko announced today at the Govt sitting. According to her, the inspection data have proved lost billions of budget hryvnjas because of violations of these structures. According to the government’s press-office, Yulia Tymoshenko stated that if there is an Office of Public Prosecutor in the state then it should take note of scale violations. “It should be a public process demonstrating what has been done with the country,” the Prime Minister said.

Among the most large-scale violations Yulia Tymoshenko called significant depreciation of freight service tariffs, scrapped bus terminals, purchase of 20-30fold overpriced goods and services. The Prime Minister stressed that as a result of these violations funds of “Ukrzaliznytsya” had been ruined and means for the repair of track and rolling-stock of railway lost.

Yulia Tymoshenko stated that all data placed on 1671 pages would be sent to the Office of Public Prosecutor and she would be personally in full control of the situation.
