“We are confident that both Ukraine and our strategic partners will have enough arguments to persuade the countries, which still have doubts, to allow Ukraine joining MAP at the Bucharest Summit. These arguments will win, and we will receive a positive answer on April 3”, he stressed.

O.Chaly pointed out that, as of today, agreements were achieved that the final decision on Ukraine’s joining NATO MAP will be made at the Alliance’s Council session in Bucharest on April 3.

He pointed out that the stance of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko concerning Ukraine’s joining MAP remains invariable. “Our stance is clear, we are waiting for a positive answer to our inquiry to join MAP”, the deputy President’s Chief of Staff claimed.
