The President stressed that today, in his opinion, the state informational space has serious problems, influencing the country’s development, its consolidation, unity, and understanding in the society.

He pointed out that there are problems with unbiased informing the public about many issues.

The President said that the main task, as of today, is to fill the informational space of Ukraine with the national product. Another important task, according to him, is to increase the Ukraine’s influence in the international media-space.

Victor Yushchenko sharply criticized the fact that, as of today, TV and radio frequencies are often granted to foreign mass media, which push out Ukrainian ones. “I’m ashamed. Pro-state people do not adhere to such a policy”, the President said.
