President: new law on state purchaises is corrupt
President Victor Yushchenko announced in his interview on Inter TV channel on Thursday that he refuses to sign the new version of the law on state purchases adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on February 12, according to the President`s press-office.
“The work being conducted today in the Verkhovna Rada on this draft law as the matter of fact is a corruptive plot. I am very concerned about alliance between Party of Regions and BYuT who propose to preserve the existing corrupt model,” – said V. Yushchenko adding that he will never sign the law in its current version.
