Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko claimed to European Parliament Members that she is ready to support the candidacy of President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko at the regular presidential election in Ukraine, under condition that he indicates a common approach to solving key problems.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, she claimed this on Monday, speaking at the session of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament.
“In this case, there is no sense to propose two candidacies for the election… and, as I love Ukraine, I may once again support the candidacy of Victor Yushchenko”, she said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on 14 January Yulia Tymoshenko claimed she does not rule out taking part in the regular presidential election, if her government is hampered to work.
