Ukraine-EU to hold negotiations on new enhanced agreement

On January 25-28, 2008, the next sixth round of EU-Ukraine negotiations on the new enhanced agreement is scheduled to take place in Kyiv, according to the Mission of Ukraine to European Communities. The negotiations will be held in the framework of three working groups and at the full plenary session.

 The Ukrainian delegation to the negotiations is headed by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Kostyantyn Yelisieiev, the EU delegation – by the deputy Director General for External Relations of the European Commission Hugues Mingarelli.

 In the framework of the negotiations the leaders of delegations will also hold consultations on implementation, evaluation and further prospects for the EU-Ukraine Action Plan.
