Zarudnyi appointed as chairman of board of Ukraine Pension Fund

Oleksiy Zarudnyi was appointed as the chairman of board of the Ukraine Pension Fund.

According to the official web site of the Fund, O. Zarudnyi was appointed by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated December 29, 2007.

FOOTNOTE. O. Zarudnyi used to work in the Pension Fund of Ukraine from 1991 to 1994 and from 1996 to 2006. He worked as deputy chairman of the board of the PFU since 2002.

He was elected as a parliament member from the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko in 2007.

O. Zarudnyi replaced Borys Zaychuk on the post of the chairman of the board of the PFU. The latter had headed the Fund since January 1996.
