Ukraine condemns terrorist acts in Beirut
News on terrorist act in Beirut on 19 of September of 2007, which caused victims among civil population, in particularly member of Lebanese parliament Antoine Ghanem, was received in Ukraine with deep concern, according to the MFA press-service.
Ukraine is strongly condemning a practice of political killings and terrorist attacks in Lebanon and hopes that Lebanese people will not be provoked and will not allow deepening of internal political confrontation.
We call upon all political forces in Lebanon to reject hostility and mutual mistrust and concentrate their efforts on building of a modern democratic state.
