Foreign Ministry awarded Ukrainian scientists
On September 5, 2007, a meeting between the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mykola Maimeskul and People`s artist of Ukraine, author of documental television programs “Journeys of Ukrainians” V.Ilashchuk and Ukrainian scientists V.Troshchynystyi, V.Haidabura, I.Vynnychenko, A.Popko, V.Serhiychuk took place in the MFA of Ukraine on the occasion of awarding of the mentioned persons by the Honorary diplomas of the Foreign ministry, according to the MFA press-service.
In such a way the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine honored their significant personal contributions to strengthening of links between foreign Ukrainians and their historical Motherland.
Issues of further cooperation between the Ministry and Ukrainian scientists on researches of legal, cultural, scientific, and social problems of Ukrainian communities abroad were discussed during the meeting.
