285 settlements cut off from electricity in 7 Oblasts of Ukraine

This night, as a result of bad weather conditions (thunderstorms), 285 settlements were cut off from electricity supplies in seven Oblasts of Ukraine.

According to the press-service of the Ministry of Emergency, in particular, 100 settlements were cut off in the Kyiv Oblast, 66 – in the Zhytomyr Oblast, 65 – in the Chernihiv Oblast, 41 – in the Vinnytsia Oblast, 8 – in the Volynska Oblast, 3 – in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, and 2 – in the Rivne Oblast.

Oblenerho emergency crews were involved in restoring the electricity supply.

As of 7.00 a.m. of 31 July, the electricity supply was restored in 163 settlements, which suffered from the natural disaster in the Volynska Oblast on July 22-23.
