Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense to ally with BYuT

Our Ukraine-People’s Self Defense and the Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko plan to form a democratic majority in the Verkhovna Rada of VI convocation.

According to the official web site of the united democratic forces, Our Ukraine-People’s Self Defense election HQ chief Victor Baloha claimed this to journalists.

According to him, at present a bilateral agreement is being worked out. Shortly it will be signed by the two blocs leaders. “Probably, the document will be ready for signing the next week. The agreement envisions political liabilities of the sides concerning creating a coalition in the parliament”, V.Baloha stressed.

He added that Our Ukraine and BYuT concluded an agreement on joint oppositional activities as early as in the beginning of the year. The People’s Self-Defense movement, which joined the democratic forces camp, strengthened the opposition.
