Yanukovych believes CC should declare President’s decree unconstitutional

Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych believes that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine should declare the President’s decree on early election unconstitutional.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Victor Yanukovych said this in an interview to Le Monde French newspaper, published today.

“They [Constitutional Court judges - UNIAN] should have joined the opinion of Ukrainian and foreign experts, with who we consulted, and, probably, declare the decree unconstitutional”, the Ukrainian Prime Minister said.

At the same time, he stressed that he is ready to continue talks to achieve a political compromise.
