Ukraine and Estonia have signed an agreement on economic, industry and scientific and technical cooperation, according to the CMU press-office. The official signing ceremony took place today after the session of bilateral inter-government commission on economic cooperation.

      The agreement was signed by Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych on behalf of the Ukrainian Government and by Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip.

      During the press conference Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said that in the nearest future the Government intends to give tenor to the agreement. “First of all, the matter concerns shipbuilding cooperation in which Ukraine is very interested as well as in energy cooperation. We have an opportunity to supply energy to Estonia and then through the territory of Estonia to other European countries”, the Head of Ukrainian Government stressed.

      In his turn, Prime Minister of Estonia Andrus Ansip said that “about 50 agreements have been signed between Ukraine and Estonia. The fact of signing one more agreement emphasizes high level of political relations between two countries. Such political relations strengthen economic relations.
