GUAM to be reformed into international organization
A regular summit of the GUAM member countries to be held in Kyiv during May 22-23. In the course of the summit, GUAM will be reformed into an international organization.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Foreign Ministry’s speaker Vassyl Fylypchuk said this to a regular press conference today.
“Ukraine undertook the presidency over this organization, and we attach an extremely big importance to this summit from the point of view of institutionalization of the union”, V.Fylypchuk said.
He also disclosed that a secretariat will be created at the summit, and the general secretary of the organization will be elected.
