The European politicians assured daughter of imprisoned ex Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko Yevgenia Tymoshenko that they will act for support of her mother and changing the situation in Ukraine.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Y. Tymoshenko said this to Ukrainian journalists today after an end of the summit of the EPP, in which she took part.
“All with whom I met today said that they will not only continue struggling for my mother but they will also strengthen actions because the situation does not improve”, - she said. “The said that they will start concrete actions”, - added Y. Tymoshenko.
She said that in particular she met with Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša and Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel. “She (A. Merkel – UNIAN) spoke to me in Russian and conveyed cordial and sincere wishes for my mother. She asked to convey that she will not leave mother in trouble and all group of people’s parties will support her”, - said Y. Tymoshenko.
He noted that in her turn she thanked A. Merkel for support, in particular, for sending the German doctors for carrying out pf independent examination.
