Agreement on Association between Ukraine and EU may be signed in autumn – Fule

An agreement on Association between Ukraine and the EU may be signed in autumn this year.

According to an own UNIAN correspondent in Brussels, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule said this on February 27 delivering a speech at the conference “Ukraine-EU: a way ahead”.

“Speaking about signing, I believe that it may be in autumn. Some member-countries will probably say after the elections”, - he said.

At the same time the Commissioner noted that an initialing of the Agreement should take place during the coming month.
