Bias plus
(Canada): The headline betrays an extraordinary bias in the political debate
It is the right of any citizen or political party to rep0resent and pursue policies that they believe are important and significant. Take a goof look at Canada, Switzerland and other Nations that have multiple official languages. Ukraine should also recognise Polish, Hungarian, Tartar Hutzel, Russian and maybe English as Official State Languages. free Speech and muliple languahes are in the public`s interest.
Mike
(Luxembourg): Village people
They will do everything to block russian as second official language. If russian gets through, these village people in designer suits will get competition from russian speakers they efficiently pushed away.
Oksana
(Ukraine): Ukraine has to become strong and overcome Soviet past
Have you ever lived in Soviet Union? When Russian was everywhere, and Ukrainians were eliminated as a nation? In your countries, several languages appeared historically, because there were several nations living together. In Ukraine, it`s absolutely different. Do you know that even now 90% of books in Ukraine appear in Russian? We have to overcome the Soviet past, we have to build the nation, and only after that will we introduce the second language. Everything is not so easy as you imagine
