Yushchenko signed off on the budget in December 2007. In 2006 Yushchenko, in what was seen as a pure political maneuver, threatened to veto Ukraine`s budget unless he got what he wanted. Have signed off on the budget he is now demanding that changes be made and once again is threatening retaliation if he does not get his way. If the amendments are not agreed to its business as usual under the terms of the existing budget. Yushchenko will have to wait until December before he once again threatens Ukraine`s economic and political stability. |
