http://russiatoday.ru/news/news/20634 Just pay the bill and I am sure they will not cut off your gas. Ukraine should pay its duties and prove that it is a reliable customer ad business partner. Yulia only recently handed over 1.5 Billions dollars in a buy-out of the lost bank deposits. perhaps this money should have been used to pay for the costs of Gas. Russia should apply an interest fee for any lat payments as would normally be the case i any commercial transaction. if they do not pay their accounts what do you expect? should Russia keep the gas on? Perhaps the EU should buy 100 percent of the gas crossing Ukraine boarder ad then on sell the gas back to Ukraine. I wonder how long they would continue to subsidies Ukraine’s Gas consumption if they did not pay their bills. Time to pay up Yulia. Alexander
: Russia can’t be trusted.
In the first instance, Russia has to pay off the huge state debt to the citizens of Ukraine and 13 other former republics of the Soviet Union, now – the independent states. Moscow took over all the actives of the former USSR, including the properties abroad, gold/currency, etc. According to the agreement, they are fully responsible for the passives, including the international financial obligations and the lost bank deposits. Guess what’s going on now? The second part of the agreement (i.e., the obligations) is ‘forgotten’, so speaking. |
